Jeremy Richter
Jeremy is a proud Boerne native and graduate of Boerne Champion High School, where he still resides today. During his time at Champion, he was part of the school’s award winning welding team. One of their standout projects, a custom wheelchair accessible hunting trailer built for a disabled veteran, earned First in Class at the 2019 San Antonio Agricultural and Mechanical Show.

After graduating, Jeremy gained experience working with several welding companies before taking the leap to launch his own business. He founded JKR Welding and Construction in early 2023, initially focusing on smaller residential projects in the local area. Under his leadership, the company has grown quickly and now provides a wide range of residential and commercial services throughout Texas.

When he is not working, Jeremy enjoys spending time with family and friends in Boerne. You will often find him hunting, fishing, or grilling, especially when the weather cooperates.
Our Story
JKR Welding and Construction grew out of one person’s passion for craftsmanship and a genuine desire to help people bring their projects to life. After years of hands-on experience and a dream of building something of his own, Jeremy started JKR in 2023 as a small, local operation focused on residential welding projects close to home. What began in Boerne as a simple idea quickly gained momentum, driven by his commitment to quality work and honest communication.

Today, JKR has grown into a full-service metal fabrication and construction company proudly serving Boerne, San Antonio, and the greater Hill Country. We specialize in custom metal buildings, structural steel, gates, railings, repairs, and turnkey fabrication projects of all sizes. Even as the company has expanded, Jeremy’s approach has stayed the same: treat every job with the same care, attention to detail, and pride he had on day one.
